Shigeo Arikawa will participate in the group exhibition “Proposals for the Museum Collection 2026″ at Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam as part of the “Trained To Go (TTG)” project with KC (Kees Koenders) and Marcel van den Berg.

Every two years, the Stedelijk Museum organises the group exhibition Proposals for the Museum Collection, with work by artists, designers and makers who live and/or work in the Netherlands and the Caribean part of the Kingdom. 
This edition will be dedicated to collaborative artistic practices and is directed at practices that are shaped and informed by collaborative working, thinking and doing.

The short film will be screened at The CAM – Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian in Lisbon (PT). The film program is curated by Julian Ross, which is part of the Engawa – Season of Contemporary Art from Japan, curated by Emmanuelle de Montgazon.

Shigeo Arikawa participates in an event by Marcel van den Berg at Buro Stedelijk, a place to discover Amsterdam’s dynamic and forward-thinking art scene located at the Central Space in the Stedelijk Museum.

We gather at an evening organized by Marcel van den Berg during which we celebrate his process at Buro Stedelijk. Marcel collaborated with Shigeo on a video made during his time in the Central Space and with KC on the soundtrack.
